Tina Grima (formerly Weis) CPA, CGA
Tina Grima, CPA CGA joined FOUNDATIONS LLP in 2004 after several years of working in a public practice. Tina obtained her designation in 2008 and became partner in January 2011. Her area of practice is providing compilations and reviews for small and medium sized clients and providing advice on corporate structures as well as the process of starting a new business and maintaining the business records. Tina attended the week long Canada In-Depth HST/GST course and maintains this knowledge of Canada’s changing indirect tax through webinars, CRA courses and information bulletins. She is the firms Quality Control Partner and was on a practice management committee.
Tina’s integrity and strong work ethic is a reflection of growing up in rural Alberta. She stays involved in the Calgary community by canvassing with Canadian Diabetes Association, her participation with the Soup Sisters Calgary, Calgary Drop in and Rehabilitation Centre and food drives. Tina is a live sports enthusiast so you may spot her at a Calgary Stampeder football or Calgary Roughnecks lacrosse game.
Todd Niemi CPA, CGA
Although he didn’t receive his designation until 2011, Todd Niemi, CPA, CGA has been in public practice almost exclusively since 1998. Todd joined Foundations LLP in August 2010 and worked as our manager until the end of December 2018. Todd was admitted as partner effective January 1, 2019. His degree in Small Business and Entrepreneurship from Mount Royal College provided his foundation for wanting to work with and grow small businesses, and he primarily focused on compilations and reviews for those sized companies.
When not working, Todd is often at the rink, either volunteering for Girls Hockey Calgary, or helping coach his 2 goalie daughters. And when he’s not coaching his girls, he gets a chance to tend the nets as well!
Les Willms CPA, CGA (RETIRED)
Les Willms, CPA, CGA has been in public practice since 1984. Les has extensive experience in small business accounting, personal and corporate taxation. Les has completed the CICA In-Depth Tax course. Prior banking and business experience qualify him to offer management consulting and business plan preparation services. Les consistently serves on boards of non for profit, charities and community organizations including past chairman of CGA Alberta and EPR Canada Group Inc. He enjoys hunting, fishing, golfing and camping. Effective December 31, 2018, Les retired from the firm and is happily enjoying retirement.
