Every employee should receive a Record of Employment (ROE) form when they no longer work for your company.  It is important to know that Service Canada has been standardizing the ROE forms and by the end of March 31, 2016, only the 53 week ROE form will be accepted.

This means that Service Canada will no longer accept ROE’s in the  27 week format.

We suggest that if you have employees now or anticipate having an employee in the future that you take the time to now and register for the ROE Web Online or watch a tutorial on how to complete the new ROE forms at Service Canada’s website which is www.servicecanada.gc.ca/eng/audiences/employers/index.shtml
